Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Curtis Bryant ("clowe", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information across all of our sites and services — including clowe.dev, clowe.co, bestiebot.clowe.dev, the BestieBot Discord bot, and any associated subdomains and services (collectively, the "Services"). By using any of the Services, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect
Depending on which of the Services you use, we may collect:
Booking Data — clowe.dev
- Name and email address you submit when booking a call
- Date, time, and any optional notes you include with the booking
Contact Form Data — clowe.co
- Your name, email address, and the message you send through the contact form
- A basic email-validity check to confirm the address before your message is delivered
- Your approximate location (city / region), derived from your IP address by a third-party geolocation service to help prevent spam
- Submissions are delivered to us by email and may be recorded for our records
BestieBot — Discord bot & dashboard
- Dashboard sign-in: logging into the BestieBot dashboard uses Discord sign-in, which shares your Discord user ID, username, avatar, email address, and the list of servers you can manage
- Server & feature data: to run its features the bot stores server (guild) and user IDs, roles, and the data you create — for example moderation warnings, leveling and activity stats, birthdays, reminders, economy balances and transactions, polls, giveaways, tickets, custom commands, and uploaded music
- AI chat: in channels where AI is enabled, the bot reads message content to generate replies. That message content, plus a short rolling history (around the last 10 messages), is sent to our AI providers — Google (Gemini, which uses Google Search) and Groq — to produce a response
- Billing: if you buy premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your billing email and subscription status; full card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us
Admin Authentication (operator only)
- Sign in with Apple is used only to authenticate the site operator (clowe). Visitors and bot users do not sign in.
- Apple ID and session information are stored only for pre-approved operator accounts.
Public Activity Data
- The "Right Now" and status displays show the operator's own public data (Apple Music recent track, Discord presence via Lanyard, Minecraft server status, recent GitHub activity). Visitors do not connect their own accounts.
Analytics & Technical Data
- clowe.dev uses a simple global page-view counter — no per-visitor tracking and no third-party analytics SDK.
- clowe.co uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, which — only with your consent via the cookie banner — collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on page, referring site, and a general (country / region) location.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Confirm your booking, send a calendar invite, and follow up by email (clowe.dev)
- Respond to messages you send through the contact form (clowe.co)
- Operate BestieBot's features, remember your server settings, and authenticate the dashboard via Discord sign-in
- Generate AI chat replies (via Google and Groq) and process premium payments (via Stripe) when you use those features
- Authenticate the site operator for admin tasks
- Display the operator's own public activity on the homepage
- Measure interest with a simple page-view count on clowe.dev, and with consent-based analytics on clowe.co
- Protect the sites from spam and abuse (for example, rate-limiting and basic spam checks on the contact form)
Data Storage
Your data is stored and transmitted using:
We take reasonable measures to protect your data (including encryption in transit), but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Some providers process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the standard safeguards those providers use for international data transfers.
Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third parties to run the Services. Each link goes to that provider's own privacy policy:
Data Retention & Deletion
- Booking records (name, email, meeting details) are retained until the meeting is complete plus a short follow-up window, then deleted on request or as part of routine cleanup
- Contact-form messages (clowe.co) are retained until you request deletion, or about two years, whichever comes first
- Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized per the provider defaults (around 26 months for Google Analytics); short-lived security and rate-limit logs are kept briefly (about 90 days)
- BestieBot server and feature data is retained while the bot is in your server, and removed on request or when the bot is removed
- AI chat history is short-lived — only a small rolling window (around the last 10 messages) is kept in memory for context, not stored long-term
- Premium billing records are retained as needed for accounting and tax purposes; payment details live with Stripe
- Operator session data expires automatically after inactivity
- Aggregate page-view counts are retained indefinitely (they contain no identifying information)
- You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing the address below
Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord and by applicable law in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of any of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
