Terms of Service.

By using clowe.dev, clowe.co, bestiebot.clowe.dev, the BestieBot Discord bot, or any associated subdomain or service (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.

The Services are operated by Curtis Bryant ("clowe") and include:

The booking flow at /book (on clowe.dev) lets you schedule a call with Curtis. Submitting a booking confirms that you accept these terms:

• The name, email, and meeting details you submit are used to confirm and run the meeting (calendar invite, follow-up email). See the Privacy Policy for full data handling.
• Bookings are first-come, first-served and may be declined or rescheduled at the operator's discretion.
• You may cancel a booking at any time by replying to the confirmation email or contacting us directly.
• Bookings are free of charge unless explicitly stated otherwise during the booking flow.
• Repeated no-shows or abusive booking activity may result in declined future bookings.

If you add or use BestieBot in a Discord server:

• You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and you are responsible for how the bot is used in any server you manage.
• The bot is provided on an "as is" basis. Its features may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
• Some features are free; others require a paid premium subscription billed through Stripe. Premium renews until cancelled — you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard.
• AI chat replies are generated by third-party providers (Google and Groq) and may be inaccurate or unexpected — do not rely on them for important decisions.
• We may limit, suspend, or remove access to the bot for abuse, attempts to exploit it, or violations of these terms.
• You may remove the bot from your server at any time.

BestieBot premium is an optional paid subscription, billed and processed by Stripe.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard, and your premium access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• Prices, plans, and features may change. Any change applies from your next billing period, not retroactively.
• We never store your card details — payment information is handled directly by Stripe under their terms.
• Refunds aren't guaranteed, but we're flexible: if something went wrong or you're not happy, email us and we'll try to make it right.
• Failed, disputed, or reversed payments (such as chargebacks) may result in premium features being suspended.

Across all of the Services, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations, or Discord's terms where BestieBot is used
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Services or the bot
• Circumvent rate limits, scrape, or abuse API endpoints or bot commands
• Impersonate others or submit a booking or message under a name or email that isn't yours
• Use the Services for any unlawful, harassing, or malicious purpose

All code, design, branding, and content across the Services — including the sites and BestieBot — are the intellectual property of Curtis Bryant unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission. Third-party content (such as Apple Music metadata or Discord-provided data) remains the property of its respective owners.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curtis Bryant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or service interruptions — arising from your use of, or inability to use, any of the Services. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services is to stop using them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from the Services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to that venue. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of any of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
